fta - I put pink's mech closer to the factory so he can capture it quicker. There aren't
any neutral properties to race for so I don't think fta will be very much.
bans - stealth, hachi, grit, colin, maybe sensei but not too many cities, kenbei

There isn't enough property to take advantage of all or even half of the production facilities.
There's Second Turn advantage (PC can build from the base a turn ahead, essentially giving
them a free unit.
There are severe chokepoints
2 ports on a map this size is absurd.
An airport and two bases on a map this size is absurd.
with only three cities and an HQ per side coupled with a huge amount of production facilities,
I can't see this map going anywhere successful.
Always, always ban Sensei, no one will be using sea units, and the only air units that can
be afforded decently are copters.
Stealth are quite honestly the smallest of factors on this map. really anything that costs more
then a Battlecopter can be laughed at.
The roads span almost the entire circumference of the map.
And to top it all off, your lack of forests near the property is shocking. Apparently green
Earth and Pink Cosmo are anti oxygen considering the amount of trees on this map in relation
to the amount of property, size, and production facilities.
That's, like -10 points right there.

1. there is enough property. Example, look at Alora River. Same idea. Small map with
small lake in the middle. I've played that map a few times and most times somebody builds
in the sea and makes it a huge factor. You have to save up money for a few turns to build
a sea unit but iut's worth it.
2. FTA/STA: Green can pass the "land chokepoint" quicker and have advantage on the corner.
Pink will have the factory captured a turn before green and that counters the fta.
3.Any map without airports is absurd
4. I see no problem with the roads but I agree I could use more trees.

Alora River has only one port, and no airport to speak of.
The production to nonproduction ratio is balanced. The reason sea is a huge factor there is
that there's manuverability in the sea, and with a signle port and no airport, the land battle
gets a good support with sea.
GE does not get to enter the "land chokepoints" faster. PC gets toi build units a turn ahead of
GE, meaning that they can support the corners faster.
A turn ahead for base capture is not a good FTA counter. ideally both countries would start
with two bases and instead of a mech, you'd have an infantry.
Any map without airports is not absurd, if you look at the A rank list, you'll see a wide variety
of maps, land only, land air, land sea, and land air sea. Maps have different purposes, but as
logn as they're balanced, have a wide variety of strategies to use, and have relative
balanced terrain types, they're good. Airports aren't needed to make a map great.
As for the trees, nothign big, maybe one or two more on each side.

This map needs a lot of workk. I agree it needs more trees....I think better if the lake
wasn't as long and gave room for more land. I also agree that the FTA probably doesn't
work too well....maybe I'll stick to giving pink an extra property somewhere. hhahaha

I've made some major changes. Changed fta counter by giving pink an infantry to start with.
Took away the mechs and pre owned properties. Also gave 1 extra property per side. Made
the lake bigger to promote sea units. More trees. Enjoy!

Small maps can be a lot of fun
Having lots of ports is no prob... so what if you cant use them all ... you can still
decide which or if or when to use them... and thats what counts.
Maybe a forest in the contested corners might give a land attack better chances in Fog.
And for FTA counter of 1 infantry, it would be better to have both the factories preowned
,as usual??
If infantry spam were a problem, one could simply have one factory . Of course, it is then
harder to do a counter..though im sure something could be thought up.

I agree about the ports. With 1000 per city I don't see why someone would care how many
ports there are.

I've played this map and Again! 2 several times and there has never beenan infantry spam
problem.

Also, in most cases my opponents don't attempt to make a navy....which is also usually their
downfall. Like I always say, when you control the waters, you control the game. So maybe
having forest in the corners might deter from the water.

Doesnt giving green 1 preowned and pink 2 preowned just reverse the problem and give
second turn advantage? The whole FTA thing is so debateable. At least the way I have it
now, one guy moves first and the other guy has more units advantage and maybe 1000-
2000 extra money (if he captures on first turn). And I like how my brother puts it: In chess
there is no FTA counter and the game has been played for centuries.
