I like it.
Maybe ghost some of the ports (like 1-2 per cross section)
rest of the map looks nice.
Sea can play a key role in invading.
Air can be very helpful.
not too many com towers.
chokepoints are counterable with little to no effort.
there is a decent amount of forests and mountains.
Could use a few less road tiles (like, one or two per area, nothing game changing though.
at 19 funds per side, I'd be pretty happy if you ghosted some of the ports, otherwise, good
show.
maybe an 8, yeah, an 8 looks like a good rate.

Very interesting concept. I love the idea of the seaports being used so larger sea units
can come by mixed with the land units coming across...yet it forces a chokepoint in the
sea. I don';t think this type of fta counter works because it basically just swaps the
same advantage. Instead of orange having fta, now blue has "sta" (second turn
advantage)....Shodow did you coin that term? Anyway, I like it a lot. 9/10, but 10/10 if
you make the sea border wider...no reason to make that a choke point.
Shadow Star (02/19/2008 04:23pm):
Blue Moon does not have STA.
BM does not start a whole turn ahead of OS. (that would be an infantry on both bases)
and no, I did not coin the term of FTA, STA, LTA, or any of the other Turn Advantages.
they've been here since before I started back March 2005 (as another account mind you)

There is, cause then it won't be 20*20 like all my other maps!OHNOES!!!!11

I agree, the use of the seaports was interesting. I just realized all your maps were 20x20...
lol nice. 8/10 for me.
DuelStriker (02/19/2008 08:28pm):
It reminds me of a shrunken version of 'Distraction' made into 2 players.
maq (02/19/2008 08:36pm):
That's cause it basically is. Well spotted. =D
DuelStriker (02/24/2008 03:57pm):
Yay! Can I have a cookie? :D

Also, I never noticed that all of your maps were 20x20 O_o
It's amazing how much you can do with just one map size.
