I think you should make some ghosted ports on the bridges in the middle so that boats can get across. |

Ah, good idea. |

Ghosted means you put units with no HQ on them so you can't use them to build units from there. Unless that's what you intended to happen. On the whole the map has too many chokepoints and doesn't really feel playable. You should first try a symmetrical structure before going asymmetrical. |

its not so clear it chokes to a stalemate ... especially with airbases and navy......... worth a try ..... worth improving ....make nicely symetric, move some of the properties from centre and place them more neatly.. put a city in middle of long bridges.,,, also a few extra mountains and forest for decoration wouldnt affect play much but would make it look a lot nicer |

the more i think about it the more i like this kinda map .... but its execution is a bit dull and haphazard.... are there no other similar well- known maps with several islands conected by (longish)bridges with the ghosty port things? |

ive tested it and can say this map has very interesting gameplay...... the scarcity of bases and significant early funds available really limits spam and choke problems and encourages tech. Great for giant killing ! i its difficult to keep total control and dominate on this map .... there will always be the feeling you may have left the back door open ... especially early to middle game because you have so few units around and many of them are valuable. |

I've made mostly aesthetic changes to it now. Thanks for the comments, guys. Would anyone say there's a significant fta here? |
