This map isn't too bad. It could use some more mountains.

I like rivers too. They add terrain variety and color to the map. (And some user one post
above me doesn't use rivers, but should...)

I also like the way the map looks.

However, I do not like the overload of cities, and the neutral bases behind pipeseams.

But I think this map needs high funding. Also If I add more moutions I am worried about
choking the map. I am going to change the pipe stream, slightly.

This map is fairly small (somewhere around 20x20, I'm too lazy to count). For maps that
size, about 18000 Funds Per Turn is enough. With three bases and an airport, this leaves
26 total neutral cities.

You've got 42 neutral cities, which is 25000 FPT, which might be a bit much.

Can you please explan why its too much? Isnt more better so you can tech up later on,
therefore making the map more interesting?

Also this is about the first time I hadnt had to uprate my map.

I've noticed as I've played that teching up doesn't really get you anywhere, as the teched
up units often get destroyed by something much more cost-effective. I've noticed that
somewhere around 18,000 - 20,000 is fine for funds per turn. Otherwise, not only are you
just gonna be hoarding money, but Kindle/Sami are gonna have a field day.

Also, I'm really not a fan of the neutral base behind pipe seams. It just takes too long
to get the base because of the seams, and it can make the bases much more prone to outside
assault.

nerd-boy s idea of the "standard map" is okay on average ... but shouldnt we allow
considerable variation from the average so that all maps are not basically the same .
It is good to play on both maps with more and others with less. So the features nerd-
bot is criticising are what really makes this map unique and interesting... dont change
anything at least until its been well tried...
