I'd like it if there were one neutral base per side for them to capture, it would give a lot more options, since there's too many cities for the amounts of bases |

Since I cannot change the map as long as these system-created games are running on it, I cannot do whatever you say. The third base thing was something I thought about after I saw the completed games. |

It definitely has more cities than normal for only two factories, but isn't neceassarily bad. Fun map for sure, still think it is road-heavy. Not a fan of the four corner cities and surrounding beach. Maybe change them all to water. |

I've played it and it is fun. I also suggest removing the roads and leaving beaches, see how that plays out. Plz do not change it to an islands map edit: I've taken it off my "automatic" list, so as soon as the current games finish you'll be able to edit. |

OH NO: I fell into the "standard map" trap with my last comment. Ive tried it .... and of course thats what makes it a classic map .... it looks and plays very differently !! you dont need to change a thing !! ....... not even those silly looking cities in the corners ... they are a great distractor .... if you get greedy and go for them you might lose position ? I think theres a horrid temptation at AWBW for experienced players to just want more of the same . We need to be wary of this and encourage fresh ideas, like this map. |

I've played it more than once, and I agree it is in A-rank territory, but that doesn't mean there are no possible improvements. So I still think it would look better without the outermost rim of beach and corner cities. |

Third base added, removed beach border, added Black Boats. Removed the streets from the middle, and changed the city placement there also. |

Still Good but i prefered the original with the pretty border and corner cities...The new corner factories replacing cities oblige the play .... and reduces funding per factory which will produce less tech and more spam infantry , slightly limiting the previous freedom of movement (which i liked cos it was different). If the back bases were ports one could remove black boats. |

Forest pattern = secret swastika??? Leave the beaches, it makes it look cool. Switch the black boat placement so OS won't get a possible FTA by blocking off routes and moving through the symmetrical routes before BM can block with his BB. May be non-issue, I don't know, but looking at it, might happen. Plus you can use them quicker from your own side and not run out of fuel after two infantry moves. |

It seems to have lost alot of it's spark without the BBs =( The shoal setup lost much of it's strategic value because of it. |

volcove ... never mind sparks.. this map is absolute lightning strike !!!!!!!!!! ... it was great without bbs requiring extremely original gameplay ...shouldnt mess with good things. ... i only played on it once but i m sure theres tons to learn on this map. Definitely a top 10 all time classic map imo.... in fog anyways. All previous experience on standard maps is out the window here. Saying that, volcove and harti may well be correct in that it might be good with bbs too .... however its a tiny amount of work to make another version without throwing out the proven original. Cant we get this map into the Fog league ?? its surely fair and different and could do with some nuts analising it and it would liven up the mainly slow map selection in that league. |
