It's too squarish to me. Also, way too many bases than necessary. |

The big mountain clumps aren't very suiting either. I also see no FTA counter. |

I think that if there were airports or silo's in the middle, it would be better. |

some good original things about this map .... certainly worth fixing the minor problems. The map clearly resembles four corners by lewea and one by robocop .... well now they are all in good company. This is a squarish map, with rectangular mountain clumps .... thats the whole point-- dont change that aspect-- thats what makes it different! But yes .. all those bases will be "misused" to buy lots of supereconomical infantries ..spam... flooding and possibly jamming up the whole map. Try some games to see. I wouldnt fancy airports in the centre.... it would be the singular determining factor. Putting airports round sides could be for a later version ... it doesnt need them now. Also misile silos for a later version ... im sure theres already enough inherant fun here to be going on with. First turn advantage .... just put some common sense compensation considering the funds and the useful units the first player can get first. (use 1/4 2/4 3/4 fund compensation for 4 player .. but give something useful!) ... for example give the second player : 1 infantry on a home base, the 3rd : 1 mech within reach of the nearby nuetral base , the 4th : an APC near home which he can use soon to move an infantry to capture a distant base. Its an inexact science (with the limited units available), but theres no reason not to try! |
