General's War: This is a Team game with OS, BD and PL versus YC, BH and PC. (Right facing units versus left facing units) OS and YC are the two General's armies and the other four belong to Majors. Players with large number of games under their belt should pick the General's position and inexperienced players should play the majors. In this game the Generals give the orders and the subordinate rank must follow the orders given him. Generals are therefore in charge of strategy in this game and the minor ranks carry out the strategy from above. Generals should not give detailed orders like move such and such infantry to 12,13 but rather lay out a plan, like defend that area, attack north, build tanks and mass them in the area... and so on. Of course all ranks can discuss strategy with the general, but the General must make the final decision - weak, indecisive leadership will surely be punished. If you dont like following or giving orders dont play this game! I hoped the old dogs could teach the new dogs how to play in this game in a fun context. The person who sets the game should develop his/her own rules re: funds, COs, tags, whatever you want. But I personally like random weather on this map. There are 16 labs which act as flexible hqs, it's like a capture the flag game, but you must lose all your labs to be knocked out. Happy hunting. |

Follow up comments: The General should also be given a chance to order his majors to pick the COs he wants for them, before the game starts. |

this looks like an interesting idea for a map, the only thing I suggest it getting rid of a few of the labs, not too many because I see your point with so many, but 16 is just too many. |

So many labs, soooo little time. Only one is neccesary thank you. Bright idea though. 7/10 |
