Lab Unit is Infantry. Mechs 'R' Us. Funds should be set at 1500 to account for the more expensive mechs. |

I have taken to using emotions you might have whilst playing AWBW, as map names. You know the times when you feel 'contempt' for an opponents plan, but then sometimes you are wrong.. -This could work in FOW. |

Kanbei is rubbish on this map. I know that for sure LOL |

I cannot just play this map without leaving a comment. It is very non-standard, which I like, because of the variation. The contested bases make the game very sensitive to a good start, I guess. Selecting the right CO seems absolutely critical. I am not sure if the map is really good or bad, so I am waiting for playing my game before trying to judge... Anyway grats for making a map which I am looking forward to test! |

Now after the test game Kanbei vs Grit with settings 1.5 k income and infantry as a lab unit and a lot of CO bans, I can say that I find the map very interesting! Contested bases are less problematic than normally, since you cannot build from all bases from the start anyway. What I like especially is that you get a very non-standard game play style out of the map. Only few maps should probably be like this but it is a very nice variation. So my rating is (9/10) |

!very original map ! ... to be expected from red11. On a very big map like this fta hopefully wont be so important . But if you edit sometime, you could shove the 1st players tank back a square, and the 2nd players tank forward 2 squares as a neat half-move fta counter. . |

ichbinsehselber (09/30/2011 03:55pm):
Hm, blanci1's comment regarding tank fta: I am so sure if you are right. I see the tank mainly as a tool to intercept the mech trying to cross the street towards the center base. Under the assumption that this is true, the fta counter is perfect as it is. If the tank is more for other purposes blanci1's comment could be right. |
