mi·cro·cosm (n) --- a little world; a world in miniature

I made this map kinda sorta for fog purposes. The tanks on the reefs have vision 3, which
means they can see what is built by the other side in fog games. This means that the other
side needs to decide when to buy a battle copter to kill the tank (the tank is in a reef,
so only the battle copter will be able to see a tank there).

And before you ask, yes, there are four bases per side on purpose. Hopefully with the
openness of the map (within the fronts there are lots of spaces to go, and the pipeseams
allow slightly extra maneuverability, including backup support for the side fronts),
ubersauce infantry spam shouldn't be too much of a problem here. Besides, we need more
4-base-per-side maps on this site anyway.

CO Bans: Ban Sturm and Sami. Maybe Kindle too. Oh, and the broken 5 (but that's a given
anyway). And Sonja in fog.
Unit Bans: Black Bombs and Stealths.

I don't like it, 2 many factories, and this map will be whoever can make the 1st piperunner
and get it into a strong postion.

Piperunners shouldn't see too much use. They cost 20000 funds to make, and you have four
factories, an airport, and two fronts to maintain.

seeing as pipe runners are extremely weak and the only good position for a piperunner
really would be the middle, I hardly see them as a problem.

dragunov, if you think this map swings in the balance of making a piperunner, why dont you
go play a game on it and build no vehicles but piperunners and tell me how it works out.

honestly I feel building a piperunner would be easily punishable and probably result in a
loss.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit, simmer vegetables on stovetop in small amount of
water to medium high heat. Wrap ham in tin foil and bake in small 9x9 metal pan in oven
for 2-4 hours. Add vegetables 20 minutes before removing ham from oven.

I'm a little worried about the comm towers; if a player rushes both of them they,
SURPRISE, auto get +20% to attack. Perhaps stretching out the islands on the corners a
little could opt for island recovery without sending a whole B chopper there. Otherwise,
flaws are either invisible or (more likely) not present.

You mean the highly overpowered "move twice in one turn with two different Super CO
Powers"? No, you can't.

You CAN, however, use 2 COs, akin to the AWDS tag system but without the luck synergies or
the Tag Powers. It's really buggy though.

lolwut. Ban Sonja in the one situation she's actually useful? That's like saying Ban Eagle
because there's airports.

Sonja can see into forests and reefs during her CO Powers, thereby allowing her to kill
that tank in the reef without needing to invest in a Battle Copter. This is an unfair
advantage for the Sonja player, and is why Sonja should be banned.

It would take Sonja a while to kill that reef-tank without a battle copter. She sees in reefs only on her power, and
she will still need to have at least 2 (maybe 3) ranged weapons that can attack the tank on the same turn
(because on her next turn the reef will become hidden again). If a Sonja player can make that kind of commitment
to killing the reef-tank, I think they deserve it. But the other player will probably do the job faster with a battle
copter.
