Holy crap that looks really bland.

Extend the roads near the comm towers so wheeled units don't hate you, and add more terrain.

PLEASE.

Also make it less square.

The chokepoint in the center won't be fun. It seems that there isn't much incentive to
attack except for just one city in the center. It also seems like a comm tower is pretty
much guaranteed to each player. I say either put another city near the mountain on the
outskirts of the center.

Looks like you just ripped off urban rush. plagiarism is bad, mmkay?

EchelonThree (08/11/2008 04:15am):
Errr rast.... ... how can I rip off my own map? You do know I was the guy who designed
Urban Rush right?
EchelonThree (08/11/2008 04:16am):
Simple map concept
On each flank, one side is defending and the other is attacking, as you can see that I
have given the "defending" side better terrain, likewise, the attackers will have poor
terrain to attack from.

well i think its good that it wont be too easy for anyone to capture his opponents comm as
that would be the end. Yeah it looks a bit rectangular but still it looks like an interesting
battle --- i think the choked centre works well as it makes it difficult to decide how much
force to deploy where ... either to centre or to one of the more fluid wings
blanci1 (04/25/2009 03:15am | Edited: 05/02/2009 03:25am):
map works very well imo ... t the different terrain zones (eg the barren patch) ... and the
peculiar central connectivity are strategical heaven without being excessively complex....
and might save my skin from an demonic onslaught.

If a mark II version is planned (perhaps to improve the rather rectangular coastline), you
might also consider putting misile-silo and a port on the backward islets to give an option of
using the surrounding sea ? ... and maybe shove the HQs forward-- to be different.

Self plagarism is taken very seriously these days.
