NON-PLAYABLE MAP (unless BM doesn't care if he/she has no way of winning) This is a much smaller Egg Timer than the one used by http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=27331 The purpose of this small map is the Stealth will explode on the 13th day (I believe) and this means on the 14th day OS will begin capturing the HQ and on the 15th day BM loses. Unlike lindsay40k's map, this map does not require you to remember to move an Infantry or MegaTank every single turn. You just need to remember to begin capturing the HQ when you can. =D If you use this as a timer for BM to automatically lose on the 15th day, Sami should be a ban because she could use her SCOP and win on the 14th day, Eagle should be a ban because he burns less fuel, Drake should be a ban because he reduces fuel, and Jess should be a ban because she replenishes fuel. Note: the Recon on the top of the map is just there because after the Stealth explodes, OS will automatically win because BM's last unit is destroyed. This way, OS can only win by capturing HQ. Note2: You should probably keep this timer away from the range of any Indirects. Note3: Different air units can be used in order to change the length of the timer. |

Note 3.5: Navy can be used as well Note 4: You can shorten this by aiming missles at the stealth and forcing it to hide |

Never thought of Note 4. Good job. Drake and Jess are bans because this isn't a full map, this is just a small portion of a map to use this for, not a full map. |

Quick question, does anyone know if you were to put a sea unit on a say a mountain or any non sea terrain, would it still burn fuel and sink? |

I'm pretty sure it burns fuel regardless of the terrain it sits on. Nice concept by the way. |

Cool, that's good to know. Thanks, I would hate to have been able to won in a game where I forgot to move my Infantry for the timer so I came up with this. |

This is excellent - I've given it a 10 and deleted my old eggtimer as this design is way more user-friendly and less intrusive. That said, I have to mention that black tiles can be somewhat glitchy, and might not always be an option... therefore I've made a further map that builds on this development of the eggtimer concept: http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=41280 Also, a little feedback: mass damage COs can prolong the eggtimer by damaging the OS infantry, and Naval units will indeed keep on burning fuel whilst sat on an HQ/etc. |
