Hilarious peeps. Anyway, its done!! The fta counter is the terrain, and from what
i can tell evens out the map nicely. I am very happy with how this has turned out and
cant wait for it to be ridiculed!

This map has been designed so that blue moon can capture their northern base one full day
before orange star captures his. And they both capture the southern base on the same day.
This is hopefully a successful FTA counter.

However, even though this is successfully accomplished it does not hinder the units more
or less than the opposing team. Although OS's tank has to go through a forest to get to a
desired destination BM is slightly farther away and has to travel exactly 1 space farther.
The point being they get to the center at the same time.

Recons have been accommodated as well by adding roads (movement cost 1) to the forests
(movement cost 3) to equal 2 planes spaces (movement cost 4)

Ban the 5 and strum, because with his ability to run through mountains the terrain fta
balance would be all for naught!

The only problem I see with having a terrain FTA counter is that there are bound to be
people who make games just to play as OS Sturm. But I don't think I see many pressing
problems with what you've got as a counter.

Correct, but that is irrelevant because Blue Moon and Orange Star still reach it on the
same day.

Alright, time to explain why it doesn't matter. Infantry have 3 movement. By the third
day OS is 1 space away from their southern neutral base. By the third day for blue moon
the infantry is a mere 2 spaces away. This means that you are correct about it being 1
space farther away but they will reach it on the same day and finish captureing on the
fifth day.

I hope this explains why it works.

nerdboy pointed out one problem with balancing FTA with terrain, another one is the fact
that it doesn't only get in the way for the first turn. It gets in OS's way every single
turn from Day 1. For example, the area where there's a line of 3 forests next to 3 roads
on OS's side: OS will have to travel through extra forests every time or go around it. It
not only changes initial conditions, but it also slows down OS for the rest of the game,
giving some STA.

Sigh, you didn't read the top... OS has to go through forest but BM has to move one extra
space. so for a tank to go through 1 forest and 4 other spaces is the same as bm going 6
spaces.

BM has to go through 4 forests, OS 2 mtns to get to the base (not counting plains)
