I am going to test the hell out of this. This is a work in progress. I will show the people who do down my map making skills |

I kinda sorta like it. Some of the aesthetics seem kinda off (one-tile shoal bridges do NOT look good at all), and the three reefs in a row look really ugly, but it looks like it'll play rather interestingly. I do worry about the bases in the corner, though. It seems like it might be easy for one player to get both of them, and that makes me a little bit nervous. Obviously, that probably won't happen, but if one player gets two artillery off without the opponent building one (due to however the opponent prioritizes), that player might be able to make off with both bases. |

interesting looking map............ (minor point ... rivers in sea a bit unaesthetic) also i agree to an extent with nerd-boys worry.... major resources on dividing line can lead to racey and quick games ...... however i think theres sufficient complications present to make it unclear and therefore quite playable |

Very interesting to play ....at least with FOG ON !!!!. and id play again because im sure theres many different ways for this battle to "pan-out" ... i thought it might be a little blocked in the centre but with only 2 early and uncontested bases theres not enough units available to passively blockade for long ... and the corner actions are critical ... but its not a simple race at all. |
