(This version is fixed, 2p instead of 0p lol)

Got the idea from
http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=17318
and
http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=36951

Banned units: All naval units except Black Boats and Landers. Out of black boats and
landers, ban landers if you only want to be able to send infantry to the top screen, or ban
black boats if you want to be able to send any units. You can also ban rockets because they
can shoot from the bottom of one screen to the top of the other and vice versa, or just keep
them and let it be part of the game, or have an agreement not to.
Lab units: Whichever naval units aren't banned, black boats, landers, or both. You can add
other land units if you want whoever loses on the top screen to not be able to use them.
Banned COs: Choose. Broken 5 probably, and whoever else you want.

The point: You can send land units in through the tunnel of 0 MP tiles onto a Lander/Black
Boat built from your port. This simulates sending units to the top screen from AWDS. If
someone wins and captures all the opposing areas at the top (other than the port obviously),
they will havea a large advantage. Not only will they have all the funding from the top
screen, but the opponent will no longer be able to send units to that screen, because they
can't build landers/black boats from the port. Also, they wouldn't be able to use any other lab
units. Furthermore, the winner of the top front would not be able to lose by rout.

So yeah.

By the way the little jutted out section on the BM side of the top Spann is so two units can
unload from the lander/black boat at once.

You should be able to send from every base. make the nothing touch them all. can't touch
the hq's cause they're inland.

I don't really get what you're saying. Anything with 2 movement or more would be able to
make it to the lander/black boat/port from any base. And they wouldn't be able to move any
further because of the sea tile one tile left or right of the ports. There are cases with limited
movement but that's a little too rare to remake the whole map =P

Well the BM side isn't like that but I don't feel like remaking the whole thing a third time =.=
Metalic_Dragon (07/21/2008 09:00am):
You never had to buy a lander to send units to the top screen in AWDS. Just give them a
lander on the port for free for it to simulate the DS-effect better.
Nibbles On Marshmallows (07/21/2008 03:36pm):
Ok.
Nibbles On Marshmallows (07/21/2008 04:47pm | Edited: 07/21/2008 04:47pm):
damnit
Zinco (07/30/2008 09:45pm):
the ports and the lander are unusable, because the downster part of the map hasn't shoals
or ports.
Nibbles On Marshmallows (08/03/2008 04:13pm):
No, land units are supposed to move onto the lander via 0 MP tiles and be dropped off on the
shoal on the top. Units can't be dropped onto the 0 MP tiles.
Nyvelion (04/25/2014 08:28am):
Neat idea, can't believe nobody thought of doing this before you. I think I considered
something like this once but never actually did it.
