Make mechs lab units, and any other unit you want as a lab unit I guess. Ban the broken 5, Sami, Sturm, Kindle, Sasha. Ban piperunners too. Also, people should make more maps with a predeployed concept like this, because maps like these are always really interesting. Also JoeVector should ban Koal. |

It's good but I don't get it. |

2 questions: 1) Why mechs? 2) Are those cruisers on pipe seams? |
|
DuelStriker (07/27/2008 08:33am):
1) So you can't spam mechs until you destroy the cruiser on the lab and capture it. 2) Yes. |

Interesting concept, but it's actually pretty easy to destroy the cruiser: two or three artillery shots are enough. Since it's a mistake to spam mechs too early, I don't think it will change radically the gameplay. The com towers are interesting, because they're extremely close to the front, which will make their capture difficult. The rest of the map, especially the frontline, looks pretty bland, however. |

Thanks Taz, I fixed it now. I switched the lab and HQ positions and stuck subs on the labs. Now if the lab is threatened, the sub can dive (and yes, I know the sub will run out of fuel eventually) I stuck a cruiser on the other pipeseam and put a carrier behind it as well so it's tougher to break through. I'd recommend rockets as lab units now too. Blandness (hopefully) fixed too, I added more forests and mountains, and threw 2 extra cities in the center. |

At last someone made a decent map for a change. Theres been a lot of crap recently. |

Went back to just subs on the labs. I'd suggest making bombers and stealths lab units as well now. |
