It is not always the best thing to put the factories into a corner and have units let go
miles until they reach a front.
Quite likely also too less property all in all. The center or the areas between the
diagonal mountains look empty, you could place a handful of cities there.

At the moment, the map has a varied and well plotted out terrain distribution. The cities on the
other hand, could be a little far inbetween. as Harti suggested, you could benefit from
another 3 or 4 cities per side on the interior. Next, I'd suggest two more roads, leading to
either completing, or mostly completing the circut, otherwise there wont' be much ue for
wheeled units.
Also as harti suggested moving one of the bases closer to the opposite side would increase
the speed for combat, and decrease the amount of traveling time. Most maps should start
seeing combat by day 8 on the slow side, or day 3 on the fast end.
