This is my first attempt at making a map for naval combat. When I was making it, I had intended it to be a free for all map, but teams would certainly work here too. It might need to be fined-tuned in terms of balancing the map, but I'm not sure. |

ghost some ports...especially when there are more than 2 per isle |

And why would I want to ghost some of these ports here? I know that there are a few too many perhaps, but why wouldn't you want to be able to build on any of them you choose? |

i just think of tactics...you see...there are a lot of ports of one army in an isle..you want to steal that isleīs properties...you rout one of the ports units....but there are the others right next to it...i donīt know if you get what i say...anyway..leave it right how now it is if you wwant..but there are ut too many ports is waht i say however this is a naval battle so do as you please...one thing i checked is that in some isles..you put 2 ports and put them in one side the 2 of them...better put one at one side and the other at the reverse side...you get?? |

I think each player should get exactly one airport, and on their HQ island. I think the map will still be more naval focused because players will be limited to one air unit per turn far from the front lines. Furthermore, there are numerous naval ports throughout the map so you'll still get maximum flexibility on where players can deploy their naval units. I beleive this will balance out nicely. 1) Maybe you would see aircraft carriers built, it could make them viable. 2) improves army composition diversity and promotes different strategies. Overall, I really like this map, even the way it is :) |
