island hopping version 0.1, comment away. tell me what you think and i'll improve on it.

some islands seems...very lonely...you should put more cities..in the airport
islands...and remove some airports...too much airports..and less seaports...make it
unrentable for naval combat..and people will justgo to air fighting...you should put less
airport than seaports...you know put some near seaports to maintain the army near the
center....seems good design
Shadow Star (02/01/2009 06:50pm):
Good initial concept.
Problems:
There are too many bases for this map, and too many airports. at the moment, with the
current funds, you wouldn't want more than three or maybe four bases, and 4 airports is
about the max that you'd want. The central airports are a problem, you'll want airports to be
at the very minimum, to be about 8-10 spaces apart from each other. With only 23 property
that produce funds per side, naal transport is very underfunded. for naval hopping, youll
want to be able to produce units that you can transport to islands for combat. Which, most
of your islands aren't open enough for.

SS explains it better and more easy-understanding lol....

i took the suggestions, i remove some factors and airports, and put in more properties and
seaports. tell me what you guys think about it now?
airob (02/01/2009 08:54pm | Edited: 02/01/2009 08:55pm):
i think it really seems promising now...although another thing i noticed is that the
islands are kind of very close to each other...and the narrow paths are filled with
reefs...i recommend speading the reefs..mostly the central ones-...you know...putting them
but not next to each
other...this way naval combat would have strategical reefs and not movement hinder terrain
understand??...other than that if that is solved...i think this map is done...at least for
me ..again...cool design...after that if your attempting to test game it..sgn mein cause
AWBW has been dead for me some days
