the Idea of "Lets put the 2 HQs in the middle where they can be easily capped" idea is
stupid, this game will involve little to no strategy and will fail horribly.
amthc356 (04/24/2009 03:54pm):
I strongly disagree with everything you just said
Clover_Fanboy (04/24/2009 05:21pm):
i 2nd that... because ive already
published 2 center hq maps that
moooore than playable...
Everzwijn (04/24/2009 05:28pm):
Too damn many bases.
FTA counter doesn't quite work either.
airob (04/24/2009 06:58pm):
i really dreanmt yesterday someone would make a map with close HQs today
Xmo5 (04/25/2009 11:01am):
^^ nice!

and I agree, too many bases...but the FTA counter does work I think, the infantry can reach
the cities on the first turn, but they receive no advantage towards getting the bases or the
com tower... and iwht one closer base, more than likely one infantry will go for the base
closest, and the other will get to a city and capt it a turn early.

and while I am not personally a fan of center HQ maps, I completely disagree with the first
comment. If anything I think they involve more strategy because its all about beating your
opponent to the center and besting him in tight combat where the slightest slip can easily
cost the game.

and since nobody has said this yet I'll say it:
Good bans would probably be sami and sturm (apart from the broken 5) because sturm kills
the FTA counter with the mountains and the river and sami would make a victory too easy
with the HQs in the middle like that. Also, possibly ban eagle too? because his SCOP might
make it too easy to push the enemy back enough to expose their HQ and gaurd any capting
infantry. Jake might be a good ban as well with all those plains outside of the center..... thats
about all I got there, just thought I'd throw some ideas out there since nobody had yet =]

I agree with the above comment.
