High Command (special nerd only edition)

-Do NOT play in fog.
-Advise against weather, because on large maps you want maximum movement.

Probably, at least six of the bases can be attacked quite easily.
Air units can quickly harrass the edges and corners, but will take longer to get to the middle.
The center of the map is very well connected via roads.

Unit Bans.

You could leave Stealth Bombers and Black Bombs in, if you wished to. SB wont become
invincible because of homebase airport.

MegaTanks are always problematical, but they might work here. Esp. since you can build
more artillery with 5-7 bases. Im sorry, you decide.

Ditto Piperunners, they might also work quite well here.

Summary : consider leaving all units in.

COs.

You might want to consider using tags, money CO+non broken, for high funds game. EG
Colin + other or Hachi plus other. This is a game variation, but map was intended for single
CO.

Sturm. How strong is it here, p'haps strong in the opening. From exp. Lash can usually get
on top of Sturm on this type of map. Von Bolt, quite tough, 'cause of air. Kindle, always
strong with this many properties. You decide bans, sir or madame.

This looks epic. The only problem is that it will take until like day 30 for anything interesting to
happen. Also, it looks like the landers in the left lake are misplaced, but I'm not sure if that's
intended.
Red11 (05/09/2009 12:29pm):

Yes, the landers are that way, because I dont want the CI lander cut off by the choke point,
but I guess it could maneuver around the isle.

This is a favourite map of mine, of this catergory, in case you havent seen it before.

In this type of map, it's a buildup, I guess, and there is quite a bit of long term strategy
involved.

I guess it could be speeded up in different ways, however Im more likely just to design the
forests a bit more aesthetically.

Might have a bit more plains((in the middle)can't believe i'm saying that O.o). but is awesome
nyways.

Hurts my eyes/10
Red11 (05/10/2009 02:30am):

Like I said, it's a nerdish, strategic level game.

Concepts include, slow buildup, pressure from afar, pressure points (Ji Jitsu), logistics, barn
sturming or miserly Sasha.
Red11 (05/14/2009 12:16am):

First game, first blood, turn 11.
