I take it you like things like FTA, and running around with nothing but infantry, and you totally dislike indirects (no roads = indirects suck)??? Also OS and RF are in the best positions, due to the fact that BM and YC, GE and BH are gonna be infantry and recon rushing eachother... Final Vote: I'm not voting... |

well, for starters to fix FTA on 3 V 3 games you should change the teams around. since there's only one base, you have to treat each team as a single unit, therefore, before all of team A goes, half of team B needs to go. (if you have it set up ABABAB all of team A still goes before team B, from an individual scale of AB AB AB) it's easy to overlook it when you haven't made many team games on AWBW, since the cartridges don't usually have other people harping on unfair advantages. but a good way to fix turn order issues is to make the teams ABBABA. and give that last player a little extra, or make the turn order ABBAAB and give the last player a little extra. unfortunately, the FTA isn't the biggest problem on this map. Right now, simple base placement gives the top team a very large advantage over the bottom team. the top team doesn't really have to go back a whole lot to get their funds, and the spacing away from central propery is quite unbalanced. the best advice I have for you is to start with maps that are symmetrical and fix the team order. early maps (as in early multiplayer/team maps) are quite hard to accurately counter when the map doens't give everyone the same equal chances. |

ok i edited it again, I changed turn order to ABBABA and I added another base so I'll need an explaination on which teams need an FTA counter and I moved a few bases further back for the top team and changed the "center" of the map to make it a little less like there is a center if you understand what I mean basically I added more cities on the south side of the center so that there isn't really a defined cantral vantage point on the map and I added more cities near the teams for extra resources so that the second base has a little more of some use for the teams so any advice regarding the FTA counter I need to add would be very appreciated, thanks for the advice so far. |
