Ok, although this is my IX map design, it's the first one i ever published, so don't be
too harsh on me ç_ç constructive comments/feedback are really appreciated.

This map is loosely based out of the original map here ->
http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=45429, since i loved the idea, and asked
its creator for permission.

2vs2, OS+YC vs BM+GE, so that starting teams should even out the FTA, FoW on (notice the
four recons in the center...?).

Suggested bans: Colin, Grit, Hachi, Sensei.
Possible bans: Kanbei (due to huge map), Koal (due to number of roads). But i don't really
feel like they're necessary.

The map is rather... chokey, near the center, but the number of brokable pipes should make
up for that - there are 9 brokable pipes which lead to each base, plus the main entrance.
The side "isles" between the rivers and the pipes *should* be the focus of the major
battles, i suppose, but i still fear they're poor terrain-wise and property-wise; however,
i couldn't come up with better ideas yet, so any suggestion on this point is VERY
appreciated.

I also thought about switching HQ's for Labs, and then putting a free one in each of the
isles, but i discarded the idea (for now).

Main entrances shouldn't see much fighting, i suppose... maybe a little near the corner
factories, but not much.

The double-pipe inside the starting square was designed to prevent early rushes - even
though they're still possible, the place is very chokey, and it's difficult to take
advantage of that; however, i suppose they'll see some fighting, expecially when trying to
break into enemy bases. Since it's likely to get AWFULLY crowded in there i fear, i think
banning Black Bombs is a bad idea, since they could be used to clear quickly the area. I
don't really think banning piperunners is necessary, either. Any suggestion to avoid
excessive crowding inside the bases would be appreciated, too.

FInal Consideration: unless something can convince me of the contrary, i'm rating my map
1/10, but i might decide to change my vote later. Don't vote if you don't feel like
leaving a comment either, please.

Thank you in advance to whoever gives me constructive feedbacks/suggestions/comments.

very chokey. Predeployed chokeyness is bad, open up the outer roads more. Also(if
intended) the recons are not immortal an indirect will wipe them out. And always make a
1vs1 before tackling bigger maps Outer edge clearly imbalanced. Also, a bit road heavy, as
almost every tile is road. In the center, chokeyness is supreme, so fix that. I'd give it a 2

to avoid the crowding, instead of the mountain and forests that are between each player
you could put more breakable pipes, that way if anyone wants to take the direct way to
others HQ it will take them more time, or you could place rivers/mountains blocking so only
infantry/mech can pass trough the middle
Maybe too many roads
Ban piperunners? maybe, pipes are already a great defence
I like it
PS: don't rate yourself with 1!

First of all: thank you for commenting ^^ now on to answer!

@Falconewing

I don't see really the point of saying it is "predeployed". There are only the recons (yes, i
wanted them to be destroyable), and it was planned to be kinda chokey (see original for an
example). Unfortunately, as i love quick movements, i love roads the more. Specify the
imbalancement in outer edge, please.

Also, i myself complain about the center as well, but that was the best i could do without
suggestions.

@Varker

Thankies =)

that thing was made to prevent massive rush, and it looks kinda convincing to me... But it still
risks to get infantry flooded to defend (although i don't see a real risk there)

Eh, i kinda like roads, unfortunately =\ will have to play it to check it out though.

P.S.: it looks ugly as it is, and i don't know why... i might change my rating later, though, after
playing.

Thanks for support again ^^
