I would tell you what's wrong with this map, but it'd just be easier to say what you got
right.

+ Roads look nice
+ Shoals look nice
+ Symmetry

But as for the actual gameplay itself, it is sorely lacking. I recommend you read the
guides in the following link, which airob so kindly supplied in the comments of your first
map.
