I think it's pretty. But I wonder about FTA. Let me know what needs to be done.

BTW for those to whom it isn't obvious, this is blankets, I've officially run out of room for
maps on my first profile and have moved on to the number '2'.

amthc356 (09/01/2009 05:59am):
you overcountered. BM's getting an extra 5000 funds, which is an entire day of income for
OS. Try making that southern BM city neutral and giving BM another infantry on one of the
islands.
Harti (09/01/2009 06:47am):
So.... there are 4 bases on two big mono-coloured isles which are connected by 4 shoal
tiles and supposed to invade with Landers but they'll be outnumbered in an instant?

Concept fail, try to think of something better for your pretty epic map you made there.
blankets2 (09/01/2009 05:07pm):
if I think about it, since those two islands are linked by cap, I could counter it with one BM
infantry. Also going to remove the middle bases, they're very unnecessary.

Also going to move the third HQ island base out to the side islands, or around there. Thanks
for the comments, and any more suggestions are greatly desired and appreciated.
airob2 (09/01/2009 06:11pm):
OMG who are you new person? your name sounds familiar...
it feels a bit overfunded though, the shoald bridges are just to narrow, make them wider,
i say this, as itīs hard to invade by lander/bboat, maps that the only way of winning are
naval invading tend to stale, and take long games to finish, if they do...so consider
making somemroe bridges, or at least putting key point where the invanding army can take a
base quickly and start spamthere
blankets2 (09/01/2009 08:12pm):
Put two bases v. one base on the wedge islands to give one team the advantage and a
staging point, with the port there it can go either way, and i'd imagine it would be possible to
transport units from HQ island to the wedges for the team with the disadvantage as per
wedge island.

Besides that, I made the land combat slightly wider with bigger shoal bridges, (Thinking about
removing the mountains to offer more space to move.

I was considering slapping bases back on the middle to create an extra staging point and
support land combat in the middle.

Besides that I'm throwing this into testing, and for the hell of it I'll throw out some invitations
to.

http://i547.photobucket.com/albums/hh448/robertoskate/gg.jpg

check this link...thatīs a place where i think a pre-owned base should be added, or a
neutral one that can be captured by the army with the same color....
and for this to work, you would need to switch OS and BMīs HQ positions...only the HQ
positions...that wasy they would be fighting enemies in both ways...and probably make that
slim path a bit wider, one tile at least
blankets (09/02/2009 04:47pm):
wait, so I get rid of the two preowned bases by the HQ's, switch HQ locations, and add
preowned bases where you pointed out? what exactly does that do?
airob2 (09/02/2009 05:01pm | Edited: 09/02/2009 05:02pm):
no you misunderstood, what i meant, is to change starting places. like, BM HQ and two
pre-owned bases are on north, switch them to the south with OSīs HQ and starting bases,
the extra places i pointed out, were to add another base,
airob (09/02/2009 05:40pm):
also, there is quite an insuficient FTA counter, 4 pre-owned bases need at least 2
infantry to counter them
blankets (09/02/2009 06:31pm):
crap, i forgot one...
blankets2 (09/02/2009 10:16pm):
I see you're point now airob, this makes preowned bases more sandwhich like so that the
combat can go more so either way, thanks for the tip.
blankets2 (09/02/2009 10:39pm):
Took out some of the ports for now, and lowered the property count significantly.

16+55ish should be ok.
airob (09/04/2009 05:56pm | Edited: 09/04/2009 05:57pm):
mhm on second thought..i see something good here, the bases i mentioned before..the
eastern and western.OS and BM ones..what if you swap them? it would make for another
front, on the
main islands...get what i say?
blankets2 (09/05/2009 01:47pm):
yup, added an extra port for the main island for both side access by naval.
blankets (09/10/2009 10:45pm):
Testing now.
Tyrantboy (09/11/2009 12:37pm):
get rid of one infantry of BM
airob (09/11/2009 01:23pm):
lol noob^
blankets (09/11/2009 03:43pm | Edited: 09/11/2009 03:44pm):
there needs to be two infantry, because each island base is connected via symmetry,
therefore one side needs an infantry to match the fta. and the HQ base infantry is a must
aswell.
blankets (09/11/2009 03:45pm):
oh comon, if you're going to give me a one, give me a reason too, or maybe you're just
jealous mystery hater?
airob2 (09/11/2009 04:51pm):
iīm 10ing it :D
airob (09/12/2009 01:42pm):
btw..make the side paths one tile wider at least plz...they are too chokey..
Hellraider (09/12/2009 01:44pm):
FTA counter is a bit slim, 6k income and 5 bases aren't sufficiently countered by only 2
infantry. I suggest adding a third one on the easternmost base. Also, the sidepaths are a bit
too thin. The map looks very pretty though.
blankets (09/12/2009 03:34pm):
Agreed, i can tell now by playing it that the fta is slightly insufficient.
tst5383 (10/12/2009 10:37am | Edited: 10/12/2009 10:38am):
This map could be awesome with some airports. It's quite a pity not to have some.
