I honestly felt like more could've been done, but I really was aiming for a air/sea kind of map..
not too much air though.. got FTA counter and even a distraction event (mech and APC on
foreign territory). Have fun.

Sorry to say this but this map is awful.
3 Comtowers? Javier likes.

The map is not symmetrical at all (symmetrical maps are kinda fair) and it doesn't use a
FTA counter. Also, the funds are kinda low to get many ships out there. And what the hell
is the BM infantry on OS's HQ isle supposed to do?

I don't rate this map, so if there is going to be a low rating -- it wasn't me.
DarkPhantom (12/03/2009 07:04pm):
Simple cure: Ban Javier.

Symmetrical maps.. ehh.. whatever about them. Life isn't fair, adapt and overcome. The BM
infantry by the OS HQ will basically distract OS while the BM HQ isle can go ahead and start
capturing.

"Life isn't fair, adapt and overcome."

The most common way of "adapting" to an unfair map is not playing on it (at least as the
side with the disadvantage).
DarkPhantom (12/04/2009 04:24pm):
The only disadvantage I saw was that there is an extra airport too, too close to OS.. Well there
are a few more fun things. Haha, have fun not playing on it. :p
Ultra Storm (12/04/2009 07:39pm | Edited: 12/04/2009 07:48pm):
You just can't see it. Asymmetric property placement and BM being a turn behind on every
relevant front are bad enough on their own.

However, it gets worse. BM can't even finish the capture of the base with the mech while
OS can. OS builds an anti-air on day 1 on the northern base and stops the capture. Still,
OS can always capture the corresponding base and can even build their first unit before BM
can deliver their first attack. Furthermore, if OS uses Sturm or Sami, they can drop a
mech on BM's base on day 1 and stop BM's use of the base altogether.

So, if you can't see anything unfair you haven't thought much about what happens during
the first few turns.
