This is intended as a 30x20 revision of Reinforcements Are Far Away- all the better to put in AW2, and because the issues with RAFA were a lot harder to fix in 20x20. This should be a fundamentally better map. Also, Kindle should probably be banned (in addition to the normal bans). |

The south frontline is too contested and chokey, while the north one have nothing to competefor.(there won't be much conflict in the north.) |

Windrider (02/01/2010 04:35am):
The south front is not easy to get a large invasion force through and, when it becomes important, will be covered by battleships. The north front is open, and is also the only source of ground unit construction. It gets contested. Thoroughly. |

Remove the shoals 2 spaces left and right from each airport. Just do it, don't ask. And remove the silos in the sea up there. Probably make them airports. |

Falconewing (02/02/2010 07:05pm):
The center airports are too close, and the upper front has no conflict at all. This map is also bland in spots. |
|
Windrider (02/06/2010 04:23am):
The specific reason I have those shoals there is so any Artillery unit other than Max's can cover both airports. They were dubious, though- I'll see how the test game I have on it goes, and then they'll stay or come off, depending on how it went. |
|
Windrider (02/20/2010 05:42pm):
Top silos are gone, because they don't represent an interesting tactical decision. Not going for either silo is not a valid strategy, so it's not especially interesting. |
