depends on you, if you want landers able to load/unload units right in the middle of the land, then replace it with shoals |

Yes, I think you should switch. the central island creates quite a big chokepoint, which leads to stalemate because of the massive amount of bases you put in the place. the more shoals there are, the bigger chance you have to successfully land troups on opponent's side without having them crushed in one day. |

well, at least move the ports a little... cause if the defender put a diving sub on one of them, he creates an invincible defensive wall. |

Actually, the sublock can be destroyed with a cruiser from the north, so it's not entirely invincible... |

you can't build cruiser from the north seaport because there's a shoal blocking the path under it. Only landers and b.boat able to pass through that. Even if you remove that shoal, you would notice the middle canal in this map is actually quite chokey though >_>. |

Okay, I've drastically redesigned this map. No more choke in the north, hopefully. i smell property overload, though. Also I'm pretty sure my Ocean is too choked... |

well I think you just made it more worst than before XD..Mainly because there are too many forests and the canal that you replaced with shoals doesn't resolves the choke point at all. Always put at least 3 spaces wide of terrain on the major fronts whenever you're trying to design bridges or shoals that's connected between two sides. For instance in your map, a player doesn't need that much effort to block the shoals in the middle because you only need 2 units to fit in. |

terrain's very heavy but it's way better. eastern and western shoal tiles are a bit useless and doesn't look nice but I can't agree with blozzee, there's no more massive chokepoint. /10 |
