This still will be a HQ rush I think, since all bases are closer to the enemy HQ than they are to their own HQ. Add to this the airport and port position, and you have the recipe for a HQ race. |

moved bases one tile closer to center, and added bboats to HQs, mhm i guess a aplaytest should say how this map will play out like. |

Not a bad map. I played one game on it against a relatively poor opponent, but it seems that the fighting could turn into a stalemate on the sides and an infantry war in the center. I would suggest placing a bridge across the river locking the base and removing one of the 3 mountains around the city so that units besides infantry and mechs can get to the center. i think it would spice up the game a bit, but it's also good the way it is. |

A lot of restricted movement with 2 clear fronts. Enjoyable decision making here, especially with protected airport and protected, but distant, HQs. Meaningful ship play with early transport port and later open ports with lots of water to move around in. |
