You need terrain variety. Lots of it. And of course, cut down the starting funds, and make more neutrals on the home bases. Right now this is a 3/10, although I'll give you a +1 since it's your first map. |

its suppost to be a mainly sea battle, which is why you get that many funds to start, and why its mostly water. so thats why it can't have all of the things your saying it needs. but thank you for trying to help. if you meant it needs something else please let me know. |

well i tryed using the wiki but the person who made it must be really lazy, the wiki has way to many short forms so it gives me a headace trying to read it through. if any one has any quick tips for helping with the first turn advantage thing it would help alot. |

There just isn't enough here for such a large map, so I can't see it holding attention for very long. Also, your HQ islands need more terrain. Try adding some roads and capturable cities, then go from there. |

Yeah, it would also be good if the islands were less square. Another problem is that the ports are all shoal locked, so you're only able to use black boats and landers because other sea units would be trapped. Add some reefs to the water to make it look less bland, and add some more islands to fight over. |
