The central ports on the side fronts are shoal locked. You should have some not gated off to allow naval units to heal if you're aiming for a heavy naval battle. Also, if you want more ship fighting and less of an advantage to whoever captures the first city on the central islands, you can use ghost ports or airports instead. :) |

After playing this map a few times, I agree. The lack of ports on the middle is very bad design and makes it impossible to attack the islanders in team setup that aren't just Top vs. Bottom Usually the islanders end up fighting each other though if they're not on a team, so just put a couple ports on each side of the mainland near the middle, so that whomever wins it can actually continue the fight. |
