This is my first map. Please feel free to comment or critique, especially if you've rated it.

i had like to see how the heavy funds work out on the map...
as far as my experience goes, too much starting funds induce severe FTA issues, recon
rushed amongst the worst ones. and btw, the neutral bases can be rushed both by OS. fix that.
i like what you have done with the airports, the mountain thing and all i mean.
but..i had remove the shoals blocking the seaports..if done, you could spawn some other
naval units like carriers and Bships. which would works just perfect in this map design.
good work!

Hi, the bases are equal distance between OS and YC but I think I understand what you mean
by FTA. I gave YC an infantry to try and counter this, but I don't know that its possible
to balance completely. Thanks for the Shoal suggestion, I didn't realize they would block
other ships from spawning. I also removed a couple of cities so starting funds won't be
too ridiculous
airob (05/31/2010 11:57am | Edited: 05/31/2010 11:57am):
FTA is counter making YC capture one of the bases earlier than OS WITHOUT making the
other base rushable, in short...giving one neutral base to each army, with YC capturing
his first...if you place the YC inf in the other pre-owned base, i think things could be
different.

You're right, I'm test playing this map as OS and I was able to get a recon to the neutral
base before my opponent was able to capture it. This gave me a huge head start in the
early game. When we are finished I will fix this.
walkerboh01 (01/29/2011 01:00pm):
Yeah day 2 recon still messes up the base capture.
