ports mean to bship carrier lock this map is meant to have some teching up qualities, since there are only two bases-sea-airport and a lot fo funds. |

I really like how this map plays. Makes for great games, and having a successful 2-base setup on a map this big is pretty unique. 9/10. |

plenty of interesting geographical features plus wierd "off-side" blackboat , and air , makes for good game. Also perhaps only having 2 bases reduces the amount of spam infantry (since there is more funds per base) and so games dont get a heavy build up of forces with drawish type stand-off with neither side able to advance. (For some reason? most awbw tourney maps have 3 bases per team...) And also the several fronts makes for diverse ways of making progress. FTA Predeployed units can give fta. As is standard theory (see the wikis or forum) the second players BB should be moved half a days movement toward the centre. That might help (no guarantee, but its better than nothing). I havent analysed deeply but superficially there is some FTA. I would definitely prefer to play first here. The 2nd player may manage to equalise if he is sufficiently careful and aware , but i would have a much more easy time of it. Thats sufficient to indicate FTA. I wont say more because i dont wish to give a total spoiler for new players and others. :) |

Blanci1: Thing is, the BBoats can be used in so many ways depengin on how you´re gonna focus your game. You can use it to deploy mechs faster to the fronts and save funds for the other fronts. You can use it to blockade the port or the shoal connecting to the islands. Either way, both players can do this, simultaneously. So the Bboats have many uses, but they arent so big as to affect the game in any way negatively. |

I spent about 20 minutes yesterday attempting to find out if that was a real poem or song. I like it, haha. Not yet skilled enough (or rating established) to know where I stand here, but I do like how this map looks a lot. |

I think the BB positions are fine. the BB moves for both players before the first infantry on the nearby base does. So I guess that is somewhat fair. |

Map has stalemate issues from there being only 2 chokepoints where you can approach the enemy base on either side. I think if HQ was more vulnerable or comm towers were more contestable it could lead to more interesting matches. |

I like it--multiple fronts (top, bottom, and center), and the bboat allows you to block as well as transport in the early game. |

Lots of chockepoints to receive your ennemies, but a lot of space to switch front and lose your opponent. I really like this map. |

This is the best standard map in the league in my opinion. It has: many viable capture phase options, somewhat contestable airports, base light to reduce inf walls, enormous funding to encourage unit variety, etc. Every game I've played here has been enjoyable. I do admit I have a pretty good winrate here so I am personally biased. It's also a bit unfriendly to new players. It tends to favor the stallier cos too. I still like it nonetheless. |

Can I put the emphasis on how much the repair boat infantry blocking early game play is amazing? There are so many scenarios and psychology imvolved it's amazing. 10/10 just for that as the rest of the map isn't lacking at all. |

I'm not good at rating maps but all my games I played on this map were very stally. Though I think that is just badluck on my end, I think this map has the potenital for some top games. 6/10 |

There's no real rival for Kindle in Tier 3. Lots of cities, she doesn't lose late game. If the match stalls, then she has High Society. Besides, she just completely wrecks other CO's in the tier, like Sami and Lash. Andy has a tough match-up due to Kindle firepower and Drake don't really fight well in such a heavy air map. Perhaps Andy would have a similar problem if Kindle is removed. |

This map is good, but you are practically required to optimize your opening or else you'll never capture your airport due to the black boat blocking your infantry. For the record, the first infantry from your strong side base (farther from your HQ and closest to your airport) should capture the neutral city two tiles forward, while the second infantry from there should move three tiles forward. This will guarantee you will capture your airport without being blocked by the black boat, although your opponent can build a recon on day 3 to delay your capture (but you can build a tank on day 4 to counter it). |
