Each army has access to "9" properties that is on "their" corner. OS, however has access to 11, not counting the port between OS/GE, but could get that fairly easily. I would suggest taking off 2 neutral cities thats on the OS corner, or at least move them further away. The port between OS/GE is closer to OS. I'd suggest moving it further away from OS because of the turn order. Limited funding on the map (@ 1000G a property) makes me wonder if airports are effective. What if the airports were replaced with bases? Would that be more effective for the gameplay? I'm playing this now, its interesting and no obvious weaknesses, although OS will have an easier time due to increased funding, which doesn't help the fact that OS starts first in turn order, haha! Its a good map, excellent in FOW, with very limited resources. |

Yeah, I think I'll move two of the cities near OS closer to the center, and switch up the airports with bases. I'm playing a few people I know, and one of the complaints is that it's hard to distribute forces (especially since they're playing as Sami). I'll have to switch the one near OS with the city so that OS can still have it captured by Day 4. Maybe keep the airport in the middle? Also, should I maybe get rid of the islet near OS? Or add one to each corner? I don't remember why I put them there, but I guess someone could stick a recon on it to catch any passing ships. I had made this map when AW first came out, so it's nice to know that it holds up. |

I'd personally cut it out and put some reefs so that battleships can bombard each HQ in FOW |
