wow a 3 players map, this is something new |
Tuberluber (12/30/2010 12:42am):
Positions aren't quite balanced but are pretty close, considering the difficulties of a three player map. Ideally, the fact that whoever's in the lead will get shanked by the other two players makes some of the balance issues moot. GS probably has a better layout than AB or PC, due to the neutral base being closer to the side fronts and the three cities just beyond the HQ. However, each of GS's bases are one square further from the central comtower. The airport is also closer to the side fronts, though equidistant to the center. I really have no idea what to do for the FTA counter; I'm open to any advice in that regard. |

Switch GS and PC and keep the fta counter, the bases are a little further away, but the counter should fix most of it. |

I'm a little worried about switching GS and PC since the extra starting city PC and AB have isn't symmetric, it's GS counterpart is the lowerleftmost neutral |

Day 49: Battle for the Danger Zone It's been a month and a half since the war began. After two weeks and a dozen skirmishes with the Pink Cosmos Alliance and the Amber Blaze Republic, the front lines have barely moved. Since then, our leader has ordered numerous assaults on enemy positions, hoping to gain a foothold that could lead to capturing the capital city. Fortunately for me, I'm stationed east of our capital in the mountains. Our squad has been tasked with surveying the front line with the zealots. Due to the rugged terrain, the area between us is effectively a no man's land. Anyone who ventures there is sure to be bombarded with artillery. I'm relieved that I don't have to participate in those suicidal assaults. I've heard that the Republic has been gathering troops for a major push to the north. So far, all they've managed to do is become target practice for our numerous rocket systems, which are easy to defend because of the terrain. I fear the war might drag on for a while... |
