Me too. The only complicated part of the opening is how to play your artilleries. But the map
looks fair and balanced and very intriguing. Good job!

nah the artillery is alright. as for its role, i had make it pursue the mech to stop that base
capping or move it to overwhelm the HQ base and any unit it makes. although the other
neutral base could take care of that arty. in any case, you should playtest this map
throroughly and experiment with recon rushing, i have a feeling combining some shenanigans
with the arty the mech can be actually killed without any tactic to defend, and soemtimes
these tricky stuff tends to side with one army only. anyway it is not so probable because
there are low funds, and since you only have one base to start with itīs a really slow start.

yeah, good valid points and observations.

the truth is i just make maps without much work and it probably shows. haha

Anyway, if you happen to be reading this and a new player i have over 100 maps under
several names. just search Red11 in the map search page. ok i dont need someone to say
how bad they all are. :-)

I would make the general point that a game decided in a critical opening isnt 'necesarily' a
bad thing, imo.

I happen to really like the opening stage of the game, but i can see the other point of view too.

It's actually straightforward to get 4 bases each.

It turns into quite an interesting rocket abd artillery duel, with mobility in the center. In fact the
centre enclosed area is key to th entire game, imo. Not just the comm tower, but the mobility
afforded by controlling the center.
