Hello people, First off: NO, THE COLOR THING IS NOT A MISTAKE !! lol This map is an exact replica of what happened during WWII (Pacific front). This is the political map of the time as it was prior to the Pearl Harbor air raid. Here is what the colors stand for: OS and RS - Japan. Japan is divided into two colors because the OS version means it's playable Japan. RS means that these were japanese bases in 1941 but were not included in OS for the sake of balance. BM and GS - USA. Same reason as above as to why there is two color sets. GE - Great Britain (meaning those were British colonies and territories in 1941) YC - China BH - USSR BD - Thailand (Bangkok) AB - Netherlands (colonies and territories in 1941) JS - Australia (little history lesson: after the Pearl Harbor raid, Japan would conquer most of GE, AB and GS properties as well as a few JS properties) All in all what does this mean - every color except OS and BM are neutral since they can't be controlled. I just used these color schemes for the sake of historical accuracy (so some of you can actually get an idea of what the Pacifc looked like at this point in time). Maximum accuracy was my number 1 aim. In fact, every single major base that played a role in WWII is present in this map except for one (Guam... since the map is so small (size restrictions), I couldn't put Guam, meaning Guam and Saipan are the same spot). I know it all look all messy and stuff but I can guarantee you this map is highly accurate, as accurate as AWBW allows it me to make it as accurate as possible (mountains are accurate too lol). In fact, so accurate I wanted this map to be that balancing was a heck of a difficult task. I gave a head start to the USA (9 properties against 5 for Japan) because Japan really does have an advantage on this map. Anyhow, do tell me what you think. |

I'm not sure how AWBW reacts to countries without HQ, but it's a VERY nice map. |

"I'm not sure how AWBW reacts to countries without HQ, but it's a VERY nice map." Players can switch to that army and gain all the properties |

That makes sense. Last I remember Australia wasn't battleing in the pacific front as a third group anyway |
