Nice little map, it should play pretty well. I like the floating cities haha. Is there a reason you chose not to just have the two neutral bases preowned though? All this is doing is making the first part of the game take a couple extra days longer for no apparent reason. |

> Is there a reason you chose not to just have the two neutral bases preowned though? This counter is adapted for higher funds per turn games. I recommend 3,000 funds per turn for this map. I added a second airport. That should make games on this map more interesting when played with increased funds. |

Never mind. |

Ah that makes sense then jhuni, I think it looks like it should work pretty well for a high funds map. |

Clever idea ! not seen this before... seems to allow game-creator to set almost ANY INCOME and remain reasonably fair with sort of all purpose fta counter. I think this idea should be explained for people, as it took me a while to see what was going on here... at first it looked just symmetric ! Well okay, i will explain for newbs and whoever..... The infantry are asymetrically placed so that one player first gets one base and then the 2nd player gets 2 (both) and then following day the 1st player gets his other base... so theres a kind of balancing, which seems pretty good for any income level .. this is good for setting up a high income map, which can allow earlier purchase of heavier tanks and expensive units. With 3 bases this map might still get quite a lot of units ... with recon ? spam, instead of infantry spam... ALSO BAGS I GET THE RED-- because i want to have the 3rd base first !! i think it must help me.= imbalance./fta... though small. Also, Perhaps with just 2 bases the game might be less stand-offish with less units for shielding artillery. Well it could be quite a different kind of game anyway. Interesting either way imo. Good one. |

Interesting concept. For the concept to fulfil its purpose it seems that Sturm must be in the ban list. |

blanci1 (09/01/2011 06:15am):
yeah thnx ichbin. Actually i think for test games we could try without CO powers at first... ... i think there will be enough dynamics as it is ... and lots of choices and imbalances... we may not need powers to provide instability /avoid standoff/draw............ indeed with high funds and potentially lots of damage the COP SCOP s will be charging up perhaps too frequently and it will become more a matter of choosing the best CO rather than any careful strategy over deployment and engagement. |

it looks bland :\ |

DuelStriker (02/22/2012 09:03pm):
There's nothing terrain-wise to make this map interesting really. |

I moved this map into Innovative to recognize it as the first map to use this type of FTA counter for high funds games. |

This map was now moved into Hall of Fame for the reason stated above. |

Piece of history this one. Like the Spann island of high funds apparently. |
