Hey nice maps lately. Just a couple comments for you. Bases with 1 starting base are unbalanced due to FTA issues. The infantry counter doesn't work, and a city counter isn't perfect either. You should try to use 2 preowned bases, especially on smaller maps. Another thing is to make sure to leave enough space for battles to take place. This map for instance has very little room to move, which will probably cause stalemates. |

The issue is that this map is a super awkward remake of a DoR map I made a while ago. It has a lot less going on in the original, but works in DoR due to the completely different unit set, but was very chokey. Still working on ways to make this one work, since I'm a huge fan of infantry/arty early game but options for air. I'll iron this one out today when I get the chance. Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. Edit: Switched out all the ocean squares for other objects. Might add pipe seams to HQ walls since I want the HQs to be fairly vulnerable for the entire game. Opened up mid, added more terrain throughout. I think my main challenge will be getting used to mapping for FTA, all ideas and suggestions are welcome. |

I suggest making all of the preowned cities neutral. Then move the center-most cities in another 2 spaces (to the plain tile adjacent to the center forest. Add a few more cities near the bases and HQ so that each side will have about 12-13k total and that should help a lot. I also suggest moving the FTA counter infantry back one more space. |

Edited. I really hate the city 3 spaces away from the HQ but I'm trying to follow your advice for income for both sides. |

Nice edits, now this map is starting to look pretty good :). The central airports should make things interesting, although copters will be countered easily because the bases are so close. No one should be building fighters on this map so it's probably okay that the airports are so close together too. Good job, I'd like to see how games on this map go. |

I plan on testing all my maps throughout this week with a few people, so I'm hoping we'll get a few runs in on it. Definitely want to see how those airports play out, yeah. |
