This map has been completely overhauled for Fog of War games as of 8/09/22. Custom shoals recommended for best visual
effects! There is a lot going on with this one:

The cruiser grants a bit of predeployed vision, but not in the contested areas. Either player might decide to remove it; the player
who owns it, to build a bship as a tower or even a sub (to prevent it from being captured) -- or the opponent, to remove the
vision, take the port, and open up an additional path for units to travel. However, this comes at the expense of 2* worth of
charge.

The pipe seams can also be broken to give an additional route for the 2nd base to support the other front more easily, if desired.

The corner mechs are on mountains, giving vision of your own HQ to prevent HQ cap cheese, as well as the tower. But they
can also be picked up with a t-copter later on and potentially join the fight.

Edit: For reference, the below comments are referring to the fact that this used to be a (very bad) predeployed only map.

Only if each country had the same strength of units and positioning. If it was uneven (as it would
be now if I just changed the colors of a section or two of units), then it wouldn't work out I don't
think. I'd rather keep it as a 2P map for now though regardless.
