I like how it looks. As for how it plays... I am getting the feeling that indirect units will prevail, especially under the command of someone like Jake (there is a fair amount of plains about for him to take advantage of...). I would be willing to play-test it with you if you are game. ^_^ |

I'm a little busy right now (working on music-related stuff) but I really appreciate the opportunity to play-test the map. I definitely want to play it when I get the time. I still don't like where I've placed the towers but we'll see how it plays out I guess. And yeah, this map will likely be a huge infantry arty fest, but I'm not too worried. Airports are so far back behind the single base sides since on a lot of my maps I tend to try to put them in contested areas. Thought I'd try something different. I figure air units will be interesting mid where they can essentially avoid direct fire from AA and clean up the infantry in there but can still be brought down by missiles. Silos behind pipe to break up mid-game stalemates. I'm a bit worried about the terrain though. Might move and add more forests in clumps closer to mid and clean up the forests at the side fronts. |
