Middle Earth from the Lord of the Rings. You get Mordor (grey), Gondor (Brown), Rohan
(yellow), Green can be the Hobbits or the elves, and Blue can be the elves or the
barbarians from the north. It seems to be pretty even. Rohan looks to be in a tough spot
but they have some very strategic defenses.
Blue is far from the island but are in a great starting position for the mainland. Green
can get cut off quickly by Blue and Yellow. Brown is in the best position for moving to
the island but have to defend against Grey and Yellow who are very close. Grey seems to
have the best defensible position but they will need it as Brown and Blue have factories
very close to the wall.
I'm pretty happy with the map, and if anyone wants to give it a try just let me know.

blue and grey have a distinct navia disadvantage, as their ports will likely be taken over
before they can be used.
swissjak (05/03/2005 10:41am):
if that SE brown factory is supposed to be gondor is seems a bit out of place to me.
Other than that and mordor looking FREAKY (shoals??) it seems pretty neat.
borgez (05/03/2005 02:22pm):
I know, I thought about the shoals as the wastelands, or swamps. Someone is playing on it
now so I can't edit it or i would, since I do not like how it looks. Too much for the eye
down there. Gondor is too far south, but i wanted a 5 player map with everyone spread out
as much as I could, which is why Blue is up to the north of Mordor, and the Hobbits are a
force to be reckoned with.
i still don't know if I want to keep the SE island or not, i'll see how it works out on a
few test runs.

whats up with the positioning of rohan/ it looks a little weird also isengard should be an army
Kaminosai (11/29/2005 08:20am):
Hrm.. wouldn't a map based on the Lord of the Rings make more sense as a 4 vs 1 map?
Just a thought. You'd have to retool a new map from scratch if you had that in mind.
Flay Hikari (12/12/2005 12:01am):
Mordor should be a little more squared.
What about the Harradim forces?

very Impressive though

One does not simply walk into Mordor.
