The Green Earth and Orange Star armies have been battling over the small ocean town of
Baloria for what seems like centuries. Why do they want this town? Because it is said to
possess two missile silos. Yet, strangely, no army has acted on them. Perhaps you will be
the one to decide who launches the first?

This is my 4th map, I believe, and I've just been playing. I saw a map in the game like
this that I liked (though naval-based) and wanted to do something like it. BTW this works
best (and fits best with the story) if you set it to capture and set it on 5. That way, if
you play it by the story (as in not capturing the other side's things) and get the five
buildings on the center island, it will fit the story of the map. But bah. Play it like
you want.

Comments wanted. :-P

Why is OS closer to everything and has a starting mech, when it already has the first turn?
Dark Kun (11/23/2005 01:30pm):
Some things of note:

Shoal-locked ports, also, there is absolutely no reason to get the ports even if they weren't
shoal locked

No reefs

The mech to counter the first turn advantage is given to the wrong army (GE should get it)

If you set it to capture 5, you just need to get one more base>_>

All the cities are in the middle.

My recomendations:

make the ports functional, give GE the mech, add some neutral properties near the hq,
switch the airport in the middle with another base, add some more properties on the middle
segment and add some islands with territory and some reefs. Give two of the islands an
airport.

Also, you might want to make it so that naval units can move around to either side of the
central area. You can do this by making the entrence to the central area a seaport

Thank you ben and Dark Kun. Your suggestions have been taken. Please, take a look at it
now. :)

Yeah, they're not going to look at it again.
