Welp, random ideas map I guess. Probably way too much going on, probably the wrong way to FTA counter a 3 base start, probably awful hq placement. I'll go make a few more formulaic 2 base maps now but as always, advice and crits are definitely appreciated. Edit 1: Removed a lot of the crazy terrain, working on shaping it into a traditional looking map. Nyvelion I am not. Edit 2: Really not liking where this one is going but it looks a lot more clean than before. Edit 3: Unintentionally made the ports more useless than before, since a rocket in a nearby city can essentially do the same job as a battleship now at a fraction of the cost. I do like that a lot more than battleships though, so the ports will probably be removed or moved and airports moved vaguely close to where they originally were, although that makes the current airport corners fairly weak. Edit 4: Ports removed, Airports moved. Areas around moved airports changed to 2 forests instead of a mountain and a forest. Opened up back single-base corners by a square or two. Slight terrain edits. I feel as though the map needs more roads towards center, but I'm trying to be careful with that. Edit 5: Mid roads added, river tile replacements for 6 of the mountain squares for more inf terrain variety in those areas, and to make it harder to attack from those angles with infantry. |

Counter-FTA might be slightly powerful, but I'm not too sure. The HQs look like they could be funny too. |

Should I move the pre-deployed units? Or make the neutral bases near HQs pre-owned? Or both? Idk. At least one of those should probably be done. |

Actually it looks about right the way it is now. |

The terrain looks clumped in a few areas. Try spreading it out a bit |
