Same map but with 5 players. you have Rome, greece, Persia, Egypt and Carthage. Five empires just starting out trying to control the Med sea. They start out with little, but have many ports and cities to expand to and conquer. |

rome might have a little too much advantage, being all alone in the NE there |

Cool map and cool representation. Good amount of terrain, no roads, few properties, and major civilizations. However, I dislike no bridge in the nile river, -2 for that. 8/10! |
borgez (05/06/2005 08:11pm):
I agree that it looks like Rome has an advantage, but if you look at the factories you should see that Greece and Carthage can get to the two factories quicker than Rome since they go before Rome each turn. If Rome doesn't get one of those factories he is in trouble. As for the nile bridge, that was a good point. Everyone else can travel overland into their neighbors lands, so why not Persia and Egypt? Well there's the bridge. Happy now CO? give me a ten. |
Dullahan (05/10/2005 12:52pm):
The bridge is still nearly impossible to use effectively... I think you ought to place the bridge (or an additional one) after the second bend in the Nile; that way YC can actually invade GS with a decent chance of success. Just a thought, but shouldn't Rome have roads leading to it? ("All roads lead to Rome") :-) Also, I think the map could use a bit more terrain variety in the plains areas. 8/10 also. |

God map, But greece has NO MOUNTAINS, while in reality it was quite mountainus... At least it would be good to have one or two there...*8* |
Silver Sharpie (12/07/2005 03:17pm):
Cool map....I didn't know Greece had mountains though... |
oomouwmouw (03/29/2006 12:56am):
properties seem to be placed apart wrong... no one can capture anything on turn three except BM and GS. |

Your map is the first map on AWBW that is able to be commented on now (5/1/06), all the other ones had their comments taken away, congrats on that |

Fantastic geographical representation. It could, however, do with a little work with terrain variety. At the moment Jake PWNs all. 10/10 to make up for those silly 8s |

The geography isn't great, Anatolia and the Black Sea are horribly squished and Italy is disproportionately large. Pretty good nonetheless, 8/10 |
