There's no FTA counter. Add an Infantry for Black Hole and Green Earth to balance it. |

I don't think this was meant as an FFA map. It would only need one if it is an FFA map. As a team map, the turn order ABBA would counter FTA with out any need of predeployed units. |

Hello, that is my first map. What is a FTA counter, FFA map or ABBA? Thanks ... |
Joly (12/21/2011 08:41pm):
FTA means First Turn Advantage. This means here that Orange Star and (to a lesser extent) Blue Moon would have a slight advantage as they can build troops earlier than those sides that are lower down in the order (i.e. Green Earth and Black Hole). FTA counter therefore means giving an infantry to the two sides that go later (i.e. GE and BH) in order to counter the advantage the two sides going first (i.e.OS and BM) have. You'll see this being done in a lot of other maps. FFA stands for Free For All which simply means all the sides are against eachother; you don't assign teams. ABBA refers to, if you did decide to do a team game, the order in which you would assign which side to which team. In this case: A - Orange Star B - Blue Moon B - Green Earth A - Black Hole This way - if you intended it to be a team map - you would be countering the FTA without having to add in infantries. |

My favorite part is the river. |

the river is the best part "just passing through" |

Yeah pretty much, that's a good way of putting it. |
