meh, just a quick 10-minute map with maps getting bigger, strategies evolving and high fund shenanigans, mapmaking really went a long way this will probably get passed over what with the new stuff being developped I do somehow feel a certain attachement to this one though probably because I'm expected to pull better stuff than this and it just feels nice to do something simple but also because I'm hoping that despite it's simple build, it could end up as a decent, fun map it isn't just a map with a gimmick put in, where the pride isn't in making the map, but making the gimmick so for a 10-minute map, I did put some thought into it the center got opened up with shoals, I tried to make missile locking viable but gave up on that since the airports were too close, I put in a high city density to avoit seeing a arty+inf setup being the most popular (although it's still very infantry prone, esp with the airport) it's probably going to stalemate a lot, with the largest front being 3~4 squares wide but I pretty much made the made so small it's a wonder it isn't chokier what with my usual map making habits HQs are far in the back, but are still kinda contested. Mechs will counter a HQ rush pretty hard, though, so it's not like it's going to be that hard to defend I suppose I should actually playtest it if I care about it so much maybe I will |

Contested airports can be a bit iffy, especially just near the HQs. |
