Tried to finally make a map that looks different than...well, all of my other maps. Here's hoping. In general, hoping the decision to make lolpiperunners is feasible on this map, but I'm not sure with the amount of cities on the map that you'd be able to get the funds together reasonably in a game to justify a purchase. Other than that, might get a little chokey, completely willing to open up the center more. Internally debating adding a 5th neutral lab in the center tile. |

I like this, but only problem I see is the middle mountains which will cause player to abuse their opponent with mech significantly. Anyone who used Lash or Sami will definitely having a SCOP advantage on those kind of mountains. I would prefer reduce them. Instead having 4 mounts in the middle, I would replace the dead center silo tile with a mountain. If you like to decorate around the middle mountain with other terrains, you can used shoal or whatever you like as long you don't add more mountains. |

My thoughts exactly, I just needed a second opinion. Thank you, I'll get on editing it immediately. Aaaaaaaand edited. Maybe I'll think of something more creative like surrounding the mountain with shoals when I'm more awake. Edit 1: Changed center mountain to basically plains. |

looking back at this map, I feel like the map has too much forests in it especially in the middle. Personally I'm not fond with heavy terrain map anyway. It can be beautiful by adding all those forest and mountains but how balance your map will turn out is a major question. >_> |

I'm not sure if the FTA counter is right, shouldn't it be spread between all the fronts? I could be wrong, but can't the northern part of the map be more easily overpowered? |

Pretty nice map i must say, what i like the most is the thing that any CO is suited for this Map (maybe Koal, Drake or javier wouldnt be the best choices but are still playable). The one thing i would like in order to make the map richer is a tower in the center, that could even make javier fit in a little more. In regards to Headphone, i think the map is simetric in a way that could even suit 4 players. |

Thanks so much for all the feedback, I really do appreciate it. There's little I like more than hearing other people's opinions. I agree that a lot of my maps are pretty terrain heavy, but it's rarely an aesthetic choice and more of a conscious gameplay decision. I tend to concentrate variety in terrain around cities and other properties specifically to make fights around them more interesting than just city surrounded by plains and roads. Makes them harder to defend early game in general. But if you guys want me to tone down the terrain in general I certainly can. I divided the FTA specifically so that the four labs would receive equal total pressure early game. On the four lab fronts, two of them give one player advantage, the other two give the second player advantage. Four total possible infantry or non-infantry starts from a 4 base start between 2 players on the four lab fronts, and all four are covered exactly once (Possibility of infantry or non-infantry, 2, times the reversed but mirrored versions of the same fronts, 2, for 4). On a whole, if I divided it any other way the overall pressure on those four vital areas would be more inconsistent. It was the best way I could think of to divide the FTA counter but, as always, I'm up for suggestions on how to edit that. I wouldn't mind making a four player version once the balance issues on this one get worked out, sounds like it'd be fun to make. Even better if I would mix up the bases between the fronts further in that version to encourage intelligent teamwork between the players. I'm very hesitant to put a central property of any sort on the map, but I have been thinking about that, yes. |

Visually I love the way this map looks. Gameplay is boring and people rarely finish matches on it. Overall too difficult to actually take any of the labs from your opponent. Needs edits, will get on that when all games finish. |

hmm.. another thing i feel is teching up too slow in early phase, which results in infantry spam as this map has 4 bases. Adding a pre-owned city will be fine |

Will edit when all current games are completed. I plan on opening up new routes through the map, messing with how the labs work, and overall making it a much more complex map than a series of boring 1 base vs 1 base fronts. Right now I really don't like how it plays at all, but I'll try to maintain the aesthetics a little. Gameplay comes first. |

Finally edited. Basically a new map, couldn't stand the new one, don't really like this one all too much either but I do think it is better. Before you say the middle is chokey and weird, consider where the combat is actually going to take place on the map. Then feel free to bash it. I'm sure I'll be able to come up with a much more interesting map or two over my short break coming up soon. Like I said up there, I really don't like this one too much, kinda just want to delete it. |
