Ideas on this map: pre-deployed sub: provide visions in fog on enemy's 2-base side. black boats in the center "river": foot soldier transportation between 2-base side and 1-base side, also some repair. black boats in the corner: provide repair for 1-base side, and some transportation. ghost airports: repair and refuel for air units. ghost and pre-deployed ports: refuel and repair(if necessary) for the corner black boats Any critiques and comments are welcomed! :) |

I like this map a lot! The labs instead of HQs are good since you have preowned ports, FTA counter is good, and the fronts look pretty interesting. I like the idea with the sub behind the bases for vision in fog, too. I don't like the airport position close to the base though. One big problem in FoW is not knowing if your opponent built copters or not. Having that airport so close to the opposing base will cause lots of problems... the one in the corner alone should be good enough. Also, a couple mountains in key places on the fronts would be nice, for additional vision. Edit: Also it needs a better name. =/ |

FIXES: -mountains added for each side and each fronts. -location of the airport changed, now it is visible in early phase. -name changed..... I think if we just have corner airports, it might be too costly to capture it due to the existence of subs... i think air units are important in fog, which is mobile and provides decent vision. also raise your unit counts. the airport + tower makes the game more dynamic. having 2 airport with 19000 income won't bring a copter overspam, i think. Players can choose where to build copter. Also the S-Rank map Nemesis has 2 airports. |

I like the fixes. Good name change haha. Moving the airport so that it is visible should be fine. You're right that there shouldn't be copter spam, although I'm not so sure that air units are important in fog. But if you know when your opponent built a copter, that takes away the guessing game of building an AA too early or too late (which is a positive change in my opinion). And Nemesis does have 2 airports, but I don't think I'd want to play Nemesis with fog on. ;-) |

Yeah... maybe one reason why i think copters are important is you're likely to get the first free hit if airports is not visible. Nemesis is a good fog map for me, i've just finished a game with lalann on it... maybe it's just fun... |
