Very interesting kind of map with lots of curious features due to pipe and has mixed /scattered bases too. Great to see this kind of map included in official global league. At first may seem chokey or standoffish due to quantious central pipes, but there are various unbalancing options which may lead to good fluid battle... need to see some adventurous games . |

Removing this map from Under Review, I think it has been shown to be a very capable Rotation Map and worthy of its S-Rank. I think this map worked really well. The combination of pressure due to the 2v1 situation and the introduction of a support route via breaking the pipe seam in the mid-game is really solid. As blanci said, many dynamics that lead to fluid battles with lots of unusual unit combinations and positions. 10/10 to me. |

...just finished a game here against BMB.. very interesting back and forth with rockets and copters. BMB found interesting agressive line but got carried away and forgot his normal solid defense. Also i think neither of us even noticed possibility of pipe runner. wow. i dont even know the price , think i never had one before in all my years at awbw. crazy. would like to play this map again. Also would be good to hear comments from others who played this map. |

I was initially somewhat negative about this map, but I now realizes it is great. There are so many interesting decisions to be made. Do you build a black boat/lander? Do you build a pipe-runner? Do you free the airport? Do you build a T-copter? Do you missile lock your oponents airport? Do you go agressive? The only thing that could make it better, would be a pre-deployed cruiser. 9/10 |

Overall great map expect that if the opponent rushes a piperunner they can sort of lock down your only base on their side. Not sure if intentional or all part of the meta. But really watch out for a piperunner from the island. |

I've found that the best way to deal with a island piperunner is to get rockets on your lone base and zone it out (or get air if you can). |

I believe this map is fundamentally flawed. There's only 2 contested cities on the map (the ones nearby the pipe seam with 2 adjacent forests), and they're very easy to artillery lock for each side. The missile also encourages early rocket builds. If you don't match their rocket build you risk getting cheesed by a stealth or even just copters. Having to front switch your army through a 1 tile wide chokepoint is very awkward too. You can make up for the 1 base side by building medium tanks until you can properly reinforce it. Every game I've played ends up with a bunch of arty staring down the lone base where some mediums are comfortably sitting just out of range. A piperunner is easily zoned out by a rocket. I can't recommend this map. I'll throw it a bone that it at least manages to be fun if your opponent fails to defend their lone base properly. 3/10 |

Take it back. Previously, it was basically 2v1, and "trading weak sides" had no meaning. Use a powerful commander to quickly liberate the airport and occupy the factory in order to gain an advantage edit: After playing more than ten games, I am confident that this is a damage race. As soon as possible, liberating one's own airport and then occupying the opponent's factory is the key to winning |

A predeployed mech in the island base would make this map a ten. It would fix the problem with the city behind the pipeseam and would favor a bit more bboat strategies, without committing too much to the gimmick. |

This is one of the most bizarre and (frankly) stupid GL maps I think I've seen yet. After multiple games on it, I'm giving it a 1 purely because I'd rather take the GL rating hit than try to play another match on it. I get the sense the "trading weak sides" gimmick is expected on this map? I think? I'm not even sure because I've won and lost games where the weak side bases never changed hands. But assuming that is the intent, the gimmick gets hindered by the fact that you then have to front switch the entire army between 2 holes in the pipe. It makes the game switch to shoving beefy units in the holes while trying to hit them with air units on the sides and indirects. So all that unit building you had to do to overtake the incredibly defendable weak side base means very little at the end of the day. Then there's the obvious piperunner base. In the games I've played, its either completely ignored after 2 infantry or it becomes a pain in the ass back door to your strong side, where all your units are trying to get around your opponents mountain with an artillery pile behind it. And to top it off, the piperunner build doesn't even seem worth it based on the games I've played. Seriously, what am I supposed to do with that base? At what point do I have the funds to throw away to a bboat or lander to make it useful? (As opposed to building even more tanks/artillery to help take over wars world's most strategically placed mountain.) Idk. It's a weird map and hasn't really been that fun to even win on, let alone just play on. Although I'm sure someone somewhere loves it. |

People who like to be challenged to think outside the bun are gonna love this map. People who like to know what to expect are gonna hate it. I made so many blunders I finished the game with a beet red forehead, but fortunately, so did my opponent. My head is absolutely spinning with ideas for how I might play it next time. 9/10 |

I love this map! It has so much nuance and it allows for a lot of strategy and being able to push on your opponent from different angles of attack and creating inbalances to tilt the game in your favor. This is so far my favorite map in the game that I've played on! |

1/10 Rating: Someone needs to really explain to me how a 3-1 infantry advantage is at all fair. I mean, 2nd player can literally get capture advantage quicker and dominate much easier in my opinion. Horrible map. I don't like mix bases from the get-go, but this one is way unbalanced. And it is also NOT casual player friendly. Overall, the design looks nice, but I can never say it is fair or fun to play. |

2/10. This map is really unpleasant to play *if you don't win before the weakside bases fall.* That scenario creates interesting/novel late game tactics but it's just kind of miserable. And arguably cheesed for stealths. Takes me an hour to play sound moves in that scenario. Ab to take my first loss on it I think, so I'm definitely at peak dislike. Was solidly ahead, they started stall-playing for 2 months, then I lost interest and focus. Which is ultimately my fault. But fwiw I disliked this map from the start. If this scenario happens again, I'm gonna stop all other unit production to spam stealths to cover the choke points, and demand draw. It'll be my first draw. I don't see a way to avoid a stalemate @ that. |
