awbw is lacking of good 2v2 map recently. Thus, I'm making one. Team setup is ABBA. |

sami/drake landers on the top and bottom may pose a problem |

Cool map, but I kinda wish more of the map was dedicated to fighting areas. Seems to me most of the fighting will occur in the central islands, and the rest of the map is kinda just filler for properties... |

Really? you want OS and YC on a team yet OS and GE are 10 tiles away from each other? Other then that question I want to know what you were thinking for lab units. |

blozzee (01/30/2012 05:46pm | Edited: 01/30/2012 05:49pm):
labs unit are Neotanks, Piperunner and Stealth. Btw I forgot to add the corner bases. Now, the corners are the two main front as well. |

walkerboh01 (01/31/2012 02:54pm):
Actually instead of adding those corner bases, you can just switch the country order around. If you switch OS and GE, then it will make a much more dynamic battle, because each country will be fighting both of their enemies, instead of just 1 as it is now. |

I can't switch the order like you mention or else none of OS opponents have preown lander. The map has only 2 quadrant rotational symmetric. Unless is a diagonal symmetric where every corner are evenly shaped. I think I need to add inf on GE and YC for their fta counter |
|
walkerboh01 (02/01/2012 01:15am):
It's true that you would need to make it 4 quadrant rotational for my idea to work. But I do think a setup like that would create more interesting games. |

I think the HQs may be too close together. Can be vulnerable to an early rush. Mind you it does mean you have to balance expansion with defence of your HQ. |
